Duvall and Spacek acted perfectly. The ending is really the only thing keeping this from being great.

I wish I liked this more because Sissy Spacek and Shelley Duvall were great. I've seen this being compared to "Persona" because they both are like putting you in a dreamlike state, except I didn't find this one as intriguing. I got the Blu-ray, so a rewatch could make it better.

to have known people like millie and pinky makes this movie feel particularly accurate in it’s representation of such personalities. i hate how ostracized such people become in most communities just because they don’t fake as well.
