Who would have thought that what I exactly needed this week was a Sherlock & Moriarty team up?

I would usually turn my nose up at a show set in the 1800s, but the moment I discovered this series was in development with Hero Fiennes Tiffin cast as Sherlock Holmes, it became an instant must-watch for me. As it turns out, it was a truly sensational experience. Fiennes Tiffin was phenomenal as the titular lead, delivering exactly the kind of magnetic performance I’d hoped for, and the wider cast was equally impressive, with every actor inhabiting their character to perfection.

The narrative of the first season was impressively complex and layered with twists, each of which was revealed with satisfying precision. Beyond the writing, the production value was extraordinary; the art style, direction, and authentic locations—right down to the set dressing and costumes—were absolutely spot on.

I found myself particularly hooked from the fifth episode onward, as the action and suspense shifted into a higher gear and never once let up. The season finale was incredibly intriguing and clearly laid the groundwork for a second chapter, which I sincerely hope is confirmed in due course.

It is an utterly brilliant piece of television, expertly crafted by everyone involved in the production. 10/10, a must watch!

A good first season. The twists were predictable but were delivered with grace and very entertaining. Wouldn’t mind a season 2. I am curious to see where this series goes.

I went into this unsure yet left it so excited for s2. sherlock and moriartys dynamic is great and I can't wait to see how / if they take it to the enemy level. I'm also loving seeing sherlock learn and become smarter. we're watching how he came to be and it's great!

Yeah sure some of the twists were expected but you could see them coming because of good writing! And the acting was good enough to really sell the emotional highs. It was fun to be able to see the inklings of how these iconic characters would be in adulthood

you can always count on me watching any Sherlock/moriarty themed show or movies as i love them all and this series was no exception, it rather was a refreshing take on their story my favourite series adaptation so far (as nothing can top robert Downey jr for me am afraid 😭😭)

Sooo intelligent soo amazing

The only real thing i liked was Sherlocks and James dynamic, and it felt line that was the only thing about the characters they got right as well, Holmes being on the edge of the law but still having his morals fits him perfectly and James being pulled further and further into /1

Fire show. Love me some Sherlock. Love me some mystery and love me some Guy Ritchie style. ‘Twas jolly good fun. Hyped for season 2 brother dear. The set up of characters and the relationships of this season makes anything a season two can produce pure gold.

Young Sherlock was actually pretty interesting. It’s cool to see a younger version of Sherlock and how he slowly becomes the genius detective. The story is smart and the mysteries keep it engaging. It’s not super action-packed, but it’s still a solid watch.

I honestly don’t care for Sherlock but I got to episode 8 eh🤷‍♀️

Maybe the best series i have watched in a while. The characters. The plot twist. The music. The cinematography. The historically accuracy. 10/10!

i love how they slowly started up the sherlock vs. moriarty .. slow and subtle. next season PUHLEASE !

Didn’t expect it to he this good, despite it showing an unconventional side of Sherlock, never seen before. Keeps you intrigued, lot of future foreshadowing and a good watch
