True Detective

Only watched the first season because I’ve heard bad things about the second and third. Season One is probably the greatest season of a tv show that I have watched. Mathew McConaughey’s acting is top notch

First season is peak tv. Doesn’t get any better than that. Second season was abysmal, wish I didn’t drag myself through it. I was actually thoroughly surprised by season 3. I thought it returned more in line with Sn 1 and I actually enjoyed it.

I only watched season 1 and it was one of the best seasons I’ve ever watched. I love the way the story is portrayed throughout the show. Rust and Hart’s dynamic is amazing and complex not to mention this show made me realize just how good of an actor Matthew McConaughey really is
