True Detective

Only watched the first season because I’ve heard bad things about the second and third. Season One is probably the greatest season of a tv show that I have watched. Mathew McConaughey’s acting is top notch

First season is peak tv. Doesn’t get any better than that. Second season was abysmal, wish I didn’t drag myself through it. I was actually thoroughly surprised by season 3. I thought it returned more in line with Sn 1 and I actually enjoyed it.

I’ve only watched 2/4 seasons but both were really good and I will eventually watch the other seasons especially season 1
