The Outsider

Based on the reviews I was expecting a dumb ending like some of King’s stories but I was fully intrigued and captivated and yes, once you know what’s going on it isn’t as mysterious but there’s something different happening and I enjoyed the trip. Acting, directing was great.

a cop drama + horror story combo that had some great acting & great storytelling. i also think there was a lot of heart at the center of this show. it was about pain, grief, trauma - & i think it handled those topics w honesty & sincerity that made it feel vv real. rlly loved it!

To build up a narrative like this one and then have a rather anticlimactic ending, it brings the rating down for me a bit but overall it really wasn’t a bad show. I liked the side plots it had and the atmosphere it created. 7.8/10.

Holy wasted potential

The first episode was good but after that it was not good and the whole show did not have to be that long. I don’t love supernatural stuff so that also kind of ruined it for me.

Very good adaptation of the book
