a cop drama + horror story combo that had some great acting & great storytelling. i also think there was a lot of heart at the center of this show. it was about pain, grief, trauma - & i think it handled those topics w honesty & sincerity that made it feel vv real. rlly loved it!

Based on the reviews I was expecting a dumb ending like some of King’s stories but I was fully intrigued and captivated and yes, once you know what’s going on it isn’t as mysterious but there’s something different happening and I enjoyed the trip. Acting, directing was great.

To build up a narrative like this one and then have a rather anticlimactic ending, it brings the rating down for me a bit but overall it really wasn’t a bad show. I liked the side plots it had and the atmosphere it created. 7.8/10.

I could go to sleep on the original soundtrack 🤩 beautiful cinematography. Now I'm interested in what kind of folklore there are around the world. It is kind of slow but I still recommend watching it. At one point I got lost on who murdered who but otherwise I enjoyed it a lot

Intriguing enough that I listened to the whole thing in a few days. Still a few slow parts, though. Good suspense. Great atmosphere.

I wasn’t expecting a supernatural explanation for the plot, but I found it well done and intriguing. For me the best episodes were the first one and the 9th one! Great performances as well, but I can’t help but feel that something was missing.

High quality production, but most of the plot is bad and slow, and the ending is really lack luster. Way too long for what it was. Holly and Ralph & Jeanie are the only reason I kept watching ❤️ had good scenes on grief and emotions. Just discovering the thing was done poorly

Such a great adaptation of the book, this was very well done!! The acting was insane (wish there was more Jason Bateman tho) and I thought that all of the most important elements of the book were on screen!

The first episode was good but after that it was not good and the whole show did not have to be that long. I don’t love supernatural stuff so that also kind of ruined it for me.
