Star City

I mean, it's my favourite buzzwords...space, Soviet, and spy. Simply put, if I didn't end up loving this, nobody would. Unfortunately, I wasn't much of a fan of "For All Mankind", whereas this completely pulled me into its orbit. I was slightly confused by the British and Irish-speaking Soviets, but it's excusable given the central USSR setting and mostly English cast and crew. Even so, the entire cast looked the part and even sounded it too, through dialogue, of course. I'm honestly still struck by the performances, atmosphere, visuals, and tension of it all. Easily in my top three shows of the year. I need season two faster than a lunar flyby.

So good. Started slow but was ultimately great

A lot of potential if more seasons come up, but very slow first season, just like For All Mankind which turned out amazing in the long run. Hopefully this takes the same path because the idea of the perspective of the other side is great for this whole series.

Cool story
