Sentenced to Be a Hero

Wow. I’m stunned. Absolutely blown away by this first season. The animation is stunning and the character art and coloring is gorgeous. It creates such a rich and lived in world from the very first moment. The story is intriguing from the start and the pacing is phenomenal throughout, it never reveals more than it has to. The characters are so layered and it’s just genuinely fun to see them interact. Good mix of action as well as mystery and espionage to the story. I didn’t find out about this show until quite close to its release date but I’d say it’s a MUST watch.

An absolutely amazing spectacle of a first season, this series is visually gorgeous with an honestly fantastic story that is executed tastefully. With a consistently expanding lore & topical conversations galore, a solid 8/10 with the desire for much, much more🤩🤩
