BLACK TORCH

6/10 Saw a lot of marketing for this show online but heard mixed reviews. Overall it was good and the animation was solid and the main character and premise was interesting, but it still felt pretty generic. From what I’ve heard the manga got canceled so it wrapped up quick and you could tell, it felt super rushed and didn’t leave a lot of time to develop characters, it felt more like Jiro the series rather than Black Torch if that makes sense. But hoping the author agrees to continuing with anime only because I would like to see them build on this series more. The final fight was very underwhelming.

Great animation and voice acting! Interesting plot. Hope there’s a second season!!
