The greatest short series I have ever watched. Beautifully done cinematography, incredible acting (other than Freddie, they almost ruined the show for me, they were most definitely a diversity pick), and wonderfully entertaining story. I have seldom seen such excellence in film.

This is pure art 👌 My adhd brain at first didn’t have enough patience to watch those slow scenes, but it was so good that by the end I couldn’t stop watching. Absolutely mesmerising shots, great acting, clues, everything in general was amazing. Andrew Scott and Italian scenery 🤌

I was intrigued from episode 1! And at first I was backing Tom, but as soon as he went off the rails I thought, oh surely he’ll get caught. And every episode after that I said the same. For an intelligent grifter he surely made some mistakes.
And what’s crazy to me is all of it could have been solved with a simple photo. The Inspector not having Dickie or Tom’s photo to show hotel clerks and apartment owners is insane! Man could have saved himself the legwork.
But the show is so beautifully shot! It’s like if Wes Anderson made a gritty thriller in Italy. And to make it in black and white in today’s age is bold! I loved it though! Made every scene so bold and focused more on the landscapes and actors themselves. Such a great cast as well, some BIG names showed out. Wish Netflix would make more series like this!!
