The Lowdown

Decent story, even better characters. Ethan Hawke is still proving his acting chops with these roles. The majority of the cast in this did a great job at keeping me locked in, and it was tough since the story takes a while to actually kick in. The very relevant political subject matter interested me more so than the murder mystery. I just wish it was more prominent throughout. Some scenes blew me away, like the dreamlike sequence at the end of episode 5, while others made me wonder why I was still watching. All in all, it's got a fun cast and funny humour. Some will enjoy it. Others probably won't.

It’s fine, I guess. Lost interest on episode 3. DNF.

This show has a lot of promise and I look forward to a second season, Ethan Hawke absolutely killed his role it felt as if he was Lee Raybon. The cast was also phenomenal and killed it, as far as the story it was very interesting and enjoyable!

Great acting in a neo noir mystery. The biggest thing is that it makes me sad we won’t Ryan Kiera Armstrong as Buffy because she was great in this.

Love this. Love the characters, how it was shot, well produced and a great storyline. Was well done. 8/10
