Mayfair Witches Reviews

Meh. The writers could do better with character development

yes

This show made me feel like I was trapped in a primark shop. It was just I don’t even fucking know what. Not to mention the incest and bullshit. I refuse to watch the second season.

I like it but don’t at the same time…so you’re telling me this lady just finds out she’s a witch and just goes for it and suddenly has all of these powers and just carries on like this isn’t new?!?? I feel like I missed parts too bc it’s fast paced.

stopping halfway thru season two for now. i’m just very underwhelmed

It was very slow and confusing and boring. They were supposed to be witches but they casted like three spells in one season

Watched three eps and didn’t get warm with it. Too slow and too off imo.

This started out promising up until Lasher. He was like a predatory greasy old guy who only spoke slowly and breathlessly. It was weird and unattractive. Did not finish the series.

Don’t think I’ll continue, tried the first episode or two a while back of the second series when aired but couldn’t make sense of it as just confused me with what was happening, I did enjoy the first season, maybe I’ll try again some day.

4/5 - Mayfair witches is a weird one for me because I both thoroughly enjoy it and also thinks it could serve to have a lot of improvements. Overall the story is interesting & the characters compelling, but I feel they make some strange decisions in terms of pacing and introduction of plots that dampens the good parts a bit. I think these issues mainly come from the lack of interest in the show compared to iwtv, and so it feels a little bit neglected in comparison, but that wouldn’t stop me from recommending to people, especially if you’re a fan of the Anne rice universe :-)

loved 2nd season, looking forward t9 more seasons and what is to come in the story

Ehhh. wouldn’t watch again. lost interest and became background noise eventually

wack. pointless. and unfinished. i lôve anne rice too so this was soo disappointing

Sad representation of a good series of books.

Acting was meh

Meh

After season 2 gotta bump this up to a thumbs up. It’s still kinda bad but now it’s kinda camp to me, she’s fun idk shoot me

i try to care but i just do not.

It was good but at one point I got bored. Basically for me this show didn’t had some kind of element but I can’t explain what that is 😅

Absolutely shite
