The trailer really says it all. I don’t know enough about European history to weigh in on historical accuracy, but this show is very sexy and very queer. The plot held my interest long enough to binge the series in one sitting.

I confess that I found it tedious and with a weak plot. The beginning was interesting, giving the impression of something bigger, but I found myself struggling to watch a measly 7 episodes.
