I was on an emotional rollercoaster the entire time and it never stopped even after the movie was over. This film is absolutely ruthless in its execution and the brutal commentary on homophobia and toxic masculinity is remarkable. The cast is amazing especially the two leads Nathan Stewart-Jarrett and George MacKay. You’re hanging to every word that comes out of their mouth and their chemistry is boiling hot. Revenge is a key theme in this movie and the way it is handled is stellar!! The cinematography is popping with bright colorful club light neons which juxtaposes the heavy themes and struggles that our main characters are dealing with throughout. Oh my goodness I’m just in awe of this film!!

I think this is definitely one of those movies that are both fascinating and hard to watch.
Misogyny really is a dark twisted cloud hovering over our lives.
Relating to jules, hating preston and then ending up feeling sorry for him was such a rollercoaster but i also hate how thats such a cliché.
Why must i sit here feeling sorry for a man who cant live in his truth and sympathising even after what hes done.
Anyways! quite a different movie and preston was hot so atleast the steamy scenes were fun to watch. 7.5/10 woulda been a 10 if preston just APOLOGISED!

neon movies might be up there w/ A24. They’re just so good at creating REAL characters like I feel like I’m watching real people live their lives. Great story love love Jules and lowkey felt bad for Preston at the end. Had to remind myself that he’s a cunt and not the good kind.

holy fuck, that was an emotional rollercoaster. my heart was beating the whole movie. fuckin crazy and I still felt bad for him in the end 7/10

good movie representation, plot was okay
