neon movies might be up there w/ A24. They’re just so good at creating REAL characters like I feel like I’m watching real people live their lives. Great story love love Jules and lowkey felt bad for Preston at the end. Had to remind myself that he’s a cunt and not the good kind.

I was on an emotional rollercoaster the entire time and it never stopped even after the movie was over. This film is absolutely ruthless in its execution and the brutal commentary on homophobia and toxic masculinity is remarkable. The cast is amazing especially the two leads Nathan Stewart-Jarrett and George MacKay. You’re hanging to every word that comes out of their mouth and their chemistry is boiling hot. Revenge is a key theme in this movie and the way it is handled is stellar!! The cinematography is popping with bright colorful club light neons which juxtaposes the heavy themes and struggles that our main characters are dealing with throughout. Oh my goodness I’m just in awe of this film!!

depicted abuse tastefully, without romanticizing…this movie was really divisive for me…it kept me thinking. absolutely stunning cinematography, and definitely an eye opener for some watchers. It was shocking, and frankly unexpected…i expected a very different story.. much love!!

too good to not get a ❤️ was a brutal watch that kept me in a state of perpetual anxiety and had me rooting for something that i knew couldn’t be. hats off to both George MacKay and Nathan Stewart-Jarrett for fantastic performances
