Gentleman Jack

Mature, historically accurate depiction of a life of being true to oneself. Great lead performance. Needed at least another season.

True to the historical record. Acting was great.

Anne Lister was literally just a masc lesbian born in the wrong time guys😞💔
The portrayal of queerness was amazing and heartbreaking all at once. Great acting and cast! I really enjoyed this show and wish there had been more seasons!!

🔥🔥

I adored this show and was gutted when it was cancelled after just 2 series. It was historically accurate and so well written (as is everything by Sally Wainwright). And I totally fell in love with Suranne Jones’ portrayal of Anne Lister!
