Started watching it and then realized how lame and soft politicians are. Like they act tuff the whole time and I think they are soft.

I’m not into shows on politics but this was a great one. I’m not on board with the whole cxl culture, so didn’t agree with Kevin Spacey being cut. He is a villain on the show and the accusations in his personal life didn’t tarnish the image of the character, that’s for sure.

Seasons 1-2 were the best, then downhill from there. Season 5 pretty bad, skipped the last one as reviews were terrible.

"House of Peak". This has got to be one of the best dramas on modern-day politics, as well as one of the most effective propaganda pieces on Spacey. Himself alongside Wright... 'power couple' would be an understatement. The writing dips between masterclass and mediocrity, more so in the latter seasons, but the brutal reflection of corruption, coercion, manipulation, deceit, and ruthlessness that characterise real-world politics stays consistent, fresh, and tense. As with the score, dialogue, designs, directing, and genius 4th wall play. It's unfortunate it ended the way it did. I guess Underwood was the make, and Spacey was the break. It's also no wonder Netflix became the TV titan it is, with this as its very first. S1, 2, 3 > S4, 5 > S6.
