Lexi Minetree is literally Reese Witherspoon. Just from watching her audition tape and the video of her finding out she got the part, I knew she was gonna be awesome and the show was gonna be good.

I am so sorry but the girl who plays Shannon can NOT act. Like… at all. Truly one of the worst performances I have ever witnessed. Other than that, it’s a pretty good take at a prequel.

this is gonna be my longest review i think. but hear me out. i actually loved this show and i cant wait for a second season. also, THE CASTING IS PERFECT. like since i’ve seen reese for the first time announcing the actress i knew it would be good.
in case you haven’t watched it yet, dont read next:
i am team dustin, the ending omg. i seriously love his character and it’s smth rare to be honest, a teenage boy like him. also im tired of jocks and miles was messy idk.
i knew liz and kim since the beginning, it was something about them.
love a lot of things and thanks god eva got to her senses.
however, as someone who grew up with legally blonde and wanted to be Elle Woods at some point if ever going to law school, i have some issues with the show.
the plot is amazing, i actually enjoyed it. but, i couldn’t say it is a prequel 100%. and there’s only one reason to it. Elle from the movies develops a character in the first movie, right? but in the show she already became that character. and even if she goes back to LA, with all comfort and everything, it clearly shows that Elle is someone else now. not even the person at the beginning of the movie.
but i get it. i don’t consider the show canon, only if she idk, loses her memory or smth. maybe there is an explanation, maybe the creators wanted to do something different. honestly i wont complain. today’s shows or remakes or sequels or prequels suck. or at least most of them. but this one didn’t.
i usually enjoy every movie or show i watch, even tho they suck, but this one, especially towards the end was really exciting. and i think many people agree with me on mostly everything i have just said.
oh wow, it really is a wrong review, but 5/5 from me.
also, shannon or whatever your name, i get it, i feel sorry for you, but i really hope i wont hear another “byes” in season 2.
