Disappointing. I'd say it's between a dislike and meh, which is unfortunate since it started as a strong like. Over-the-top satire with a likeable cast. You've seen the story before, whether it be 'Ozark' or 'Breaking Bad.' It's a bit of everything but a lot of nothing. The plot and acting, after four or so episodes, become annoying and lost in verbosity. As always with Apple TV, the style and sounds are great. The aim for absurd realism ended up being the reason I lost interest. I could only take so much of the excessively vulgar language and unnecessarily graphic human detail.

solid show. brian, wagner, marin and kate were the ones who made the show imo. maybe I’m dumb but i got lost so many times with the “mystery” and overall charges bit. first few eps were so good then it dips a bit but last episode was decent. mainly watched for wagner and brian 🧑🏻‍🦯‍➡️

Interesting show with some good performances however they left it in an awkward spot without a season 2 renewal.

It was pretty good but should have been 6 episodes and the main characters aren’t very likable.

Dope Thief is a well-written and tightly executed series. I especially loved the opening and title song-it immediately sets the tone.
In conclusion, Dope Thief is a solid, engaging crime drama with enough tension and momentum to keep you hooked. I'd give it a 7.5/10. 🤷‍♂️ 🎅🍷🌲

8/10 quality show, twists, turns. Hoping for a season 2

Watched about 3 episodes and haven’t gone back to it - kind of a nothing show for me with what seems like a basic and boring plot. Let me know if it’s worth pushing through.

Started out rather slow but ended up being great

Enjoyed the show it kept my intention and had lots of action and suspense. Worth the watch.

Expected more from Bryan Tyree Henry. Show was disappointing, I had to force myself to finish the show.

Started off good & had me hooked for the first couple of episodes yet towards the end the pacing kinda slowed down

Great show, well acted, good storyline, however the last episode leaves a lot of things unanswered. Lots of loose ends and “how did that happen?” “What happens now?”

While there were some pacing issues as the season went on, this gritty drama cuts to the bone and takes no prisoners. Henry and Moura give haunting performances and are surrounded by a talented supporting cast. Give this miniseries a try!

This was good. I thought maybe it was 1 or 2 episodes too long. But it was a heavy show and was very good. Felt very real too. Great acting!

Gave this series and honest effort and enjoyed the premise and energy of the pilot, but it quickly felt repetitive and we grew tired of characters screaming at one another

I think it coulda been a bit shorter as it got a bit outlandish later in the series but overall really solid. Fast paced and very bingeable, I watched it all in 2 days

It was a great first season. It got me hooked in the middle however the 8th episode wasn’t great at all. I did enjoy the difference with Ray and Manny getting drugs and money from the dealers as opposed to the DEA in their position. I hope the next season will be better.
