Dope Thief

Disappointing. I'd say it's between a dislike and meh, which is unfortunate since it started as a strong like. Over-the-top satire with a likeable cast. You've seen the story before, whether it be 'Ozark' or 'Breaking Bad.' It's a bit of everything but a lot of nothing. The plot and acting, after four or so episodes, become annoying and lost in verbosity. As always with Apple TV, the style and sounds are great. The aim for absurd realism ended up being the reason I lost interest. I could only take so much of the excessively vulgar language and unnecessarily graphic human detail.

solid show. brian, wagner, marin and kate were the ones who made the show imo. maybe I’m dumb but i got lost so many times with the “mystery” and overall charges bit. first few eps were so good then it dips a bit but last episode was decent. mainly watched for wagner and brian 🧑🏻‍🦯‍➡️

Expected more from Bryan Tyree Henry. Show was disappointing, I had to force myself to finish the show.
