oh my god… first off, HOW IS NO ONE TALKING ABOUT THE FACT THAT HE PLAYED HIMSELF IN THIS????? Not only did he direct, and write it but also acted as himself?
secondly, my heart breaks for this man… you can see the defeat on in his face and the sadness.. 10/10 HIGHLY recommend

Pressed play clueless and with no expectations, ended up with my eyes glued to the screen by the end of ep 1. Raw, compelling and difficult to digest, it being a true story only makes it more heart wrenching tho it's absolutely enjoyable thanks to the superb acting.

honestly, got wrenching finding out that the actor is the real victim. This show was easy to follow along and beautifully filmed but it’s hard to stop watching, wanting to know what was next. definitely not for everyone. But I still recommend.

I don’t understand what people like about this show at all. To know this is based on a woman who clearly was crazy but still being made fun of just doesn’t make sense to me.

I had no idea what this was about. A well made show. Really interesting from a psychological point of view.

It saddens me that there are so many people with mental issues and no help. Also predators that are wandering free.

wtf martha is so fucked up but tbh so is donny. ik it's bc they both went through a lot but it's acc insane. feels a bit bad saying it's entertaining but it is

Totally weird and stupid. Also bit unrealistic. why would he play himself? attention seeker?

The first couple episodes were great, and roped me in. Got a little weird in the middle, but came back around in the end. Made more interesting by the real life Martha doing her interview the day after I finished.

There is no other way to describe this series to get people to watch it other than saying just watch it. It’s a mixture of emotions that craft something chilling, endearing and perfect. Richard Gadd made me want to jump through the screen to hug and save him. Incredible courage

Watching it made me feel weird and awful but actually gets you glued to the whole thingg

Good acting very good story and the fact that the main actor is the one irl who it happened adds something to it (if you are sensitive don’t watch this)
