Baby Reindeer
oh my god… first off, HOW IS NO ONE TALKING ABOUT THE FACT THAT HE PLAYED HIMSELF IN THIS????? Not only did he direct, and write it but also acted as himself?
secondly, my heart breaks for this man… you can see the defeat on in his face and the sadness.. 10/10 HIGHLY recommend

Baby Reindeer
Pressed play clueless and with no expectations, ended up with my eyes glued to the screen by the end of ep 1. Raw, compelling and difficult to digest, it being a true story only makes it more heart wrenching tho it's absolutely enjoyable thanks to the superb acting.

This show was insane. I still can’t believe it’s based on a true story or that Richard Gadd plays himself. A lot of it was disturbing and difficult to watch, but it was incredibly interesting. Donny is a confusing character because of the choices he makes, but it was fascinating to see what was going through his mind during this period of his life. I felt disgusted by what Darrien did to him, and those scenes were some of the hardest to watch. Martha was also a very interesting character. She clearly seemed to be struggling with serious mental health issues, which was sad, but I think the police should have taken her behavior more seriously much earlier.

I think everyone agrees when I say this show made most people feel uncomfortable and uneasy especially knowing that this was based on a true story along with the fact that Richard Gadd acted as himself.
This show made me feel so many different emotions and also made me think deep about the fact that there’s many many many other people who can relate to these struggles and trauma portrayed in this show which just makes me hope every last one of those people heal from it all.
This show brought into light a lot of different struggles for example abuse directed towards a male which should also be taken seriously.
Didn’t mean to get so sentimental but I think that’s just what the show does to you after you watch it and makes you sit there for a moment trying to process it all.
Huge respect goes to Richard Gadd for showing us his struggles and probably helping a few people in the process and I can’t wait what else he manages to accomplish in the future.
