Controversy aside, I felt it was too long, too slow and once she’d been arrested she did the same whimpering act for another hour.

The first quarter of the movie I had a bit of a hard time getting into. I didn’t think it’d be much, but it really started to pick up and Vera’s actress was phenomenal. I’m very pleased to have watched this before it left Netflix

Well acted film, heartbreaking story. Cinematography was excellent, I had to check the date of the film twice because it looks like a much older film.
