The pacing and casting is so bad. After the original with Arnold, this looks like pure 'Disneyfication'. It takes away from the world-building and character-building. From the get-go, it feels like it's trying to achieve something out of its league. The best parts are the extensive chase scenes and expensive visuals. Unfortunately, the direction and escalation eat away at everything including itself. I always wondered why this movie wasn't talked about and it's clear why from the first scene alone. Most of the plot points are expected and underwhelming or just 'total rubbish'.

Mind-trippy but I was a little let down by the ending. I wish the plot had taken a more sci-fi route by delving deeper into the Rekall simulations.

I don’t remember much from the original but i do know that this was very different and i lowkey loved it

Not as good as Arnold’s version, but still a solid movie. A little different from the classic movie, but it has its ups and downs. 7.2/10
