Thomas and the Magic Railroad

On rewatch, this film’s plot makes absolutely zero sense BUT as a child I absolutely adored it and I believe it really shaped the way I see the world- I remember the narrator saying that the main little girl saw magic in everything and it made me want to see magic too!

Loved Thomas & Friends growing up, but this movie was so creepy in a way. It also barely gives the engines any screen time at all, mainly focusing on humans…that’s not what a young fan wants to see at all.

6.01/10. Rewatched one of my childhood favorites. The scenes with trains are all great. People scenes are hard to watch. Script is incredibly weak. This leads to weak acting. Terrible music, even as a kid I disliked it. Rushed plot, doesn’t make sense, but keeps kids interested.
