This movie was so good all i can say is be ready to cry like crazy cuz i did for half of the movie and PLEASE MAY THIS LOVE FIND ME 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

absolutely gorgeous to look at, i loved how slow paced it is because it matches the quaint & quiet tone. felt like a 90’s film made in 2014, very rare.

10th film for my Miyazaki class.

I’d say this was his most handsome film.

I’m glad we could stray away from the children’s film making and create something other than magical realism.

The score on this was unbelievable as always. Thanks Hisaishi.

The use of people making sound effects through their voices was an interesting choice that idk if i was a fan of. For example, in the beginning when there’s an “earthquake” and it sounds like people making explosion noises with their mouths. Anyway, very picky.
