this movie sucks lmao

Borrows from a lot of classic horror but in a genuine way that celebrates what made them intense. Very psychological when it came to themes but often misses the mark on delivery. Tons of hidden details that encourages analysis but lacks the substance to make it worthwhile. 3/5

The monster is so cool and it’s an interesting story

The woods in Europe? People being murdered and strung up in trees? A band of friends not making smart choices? Oh yes, I love this movie. The creature makes me laugh. Netflix really hit with this one sometimes their horror movies are trash but not this one, this one is my fav

Misdsommar and Anhilation vibe’s, this movie is effing creepy. Absolutely worth watching, right from the beginning you sense this is going to be a good movie. I heavily recommend watching this film if you’re in for some petrifying movie.

A workmanlike but watchable horror flick which provokes a few gasps without ever really raising your heart rate.

Such a beautiful ending, the cinematography is lovely. The relationships between the characters seemed realistic :)

Pretty good, kinda weird though

I let out the biggest sigh when I read the plot summary because I already knew exactly what was going to happen and how mediocre the acting was going to be. And I wasn't wrong. Classic netflix trash.
This is like the 60th "horror" with the same story over and over again.

It’s pretty good, the characters are good, and the monsters is definitely kind of unique. The concept of the monster being an ancient god and the people praying to it to live in peace is a basic concept but they did a pretty good job with it honestly.

It was alright, cool concept and all but very slow, not much story

i think im gonna need to cleanse my room of testosterone after watching this

it tried too hard to be an A24 film whilst being a netflix original

this movie was booty, it’s so boring and all the characters suck

This just did nothing for me - the monster wasn’t scary at all and not many of the other horror elements worked for me at all - the acting was ok but a super boring story that didn’t move me any
