Borrows from a lot of classic horror but in a genuine way that celebrates what made them intense. Very psychological when it came to themes but often misses the mark on delivery. Tons of hidden details that encourages analysis but lacks the substance to make it worthwhile. 3/5

The monster is so cool and it’s an interesting story

honestly a pretty interesting movie. might say it’s more of a thriller/psychological film since imo the your characterization of everyone kinda turns it into more of a “horror” like a friend/foe situation but worse. i loved the suspense build up, would definitely recommend!
