I enjoyed the first movie, but I felt more and more confused as I was watching this second one, which I’m assuming is intended to be a prequel? I kept waiting for the film to provide some sort of explanation or big “aha” twist for everything that happened… and just ended up disappointed.

After looking up explanations of the ending on different movie reviews, everyone else just seemed to be equally as confused and frustrated. While some offered their own interpretations, none of those really made sense in terms of everything that occured in the film, especially within the end credits. Yowza.

I really liked the first movie as it was different and intriguing. I was looking forward to this film as soon as I heard it was coming but I’m massively disappointed. It’s so incredibly boring it’s unreal. Every scene felt really dragged out with not much happening. Don’t watch.

didn’t make any sense, especially the very very end. every part made me question it more. like the old guy coming back, the black rope dude. and what was the girl to the man from the first movie. i’m lowkey disappointed:(

i feel like they just used concepts they didn’t get to use in the first one but this movie was boring 🤦 First movie was way better

I loved The Platform so when I heard the 2nd one was being made I was excited. This has a lot of action and crazy moments that make it a good watch but overall it isn’t as good as the original.

First one was a fun unique weird movie. This
one tries to hard….and is just a bad movie. Whole bunch of nonsense.

Not bad at all! Very similair to the first one which was a decent film so why not keep it similair. Icl I think all the metaphors and “the children” were a bit melodramatic. But it is what it is. Not a waste of time not bad but not great

Genuinely confused

tbh it isn’t even worth to watch. first movie was smth new and unique, directors did a great job to present a message and idea of the whole movie. this one is only a remake of first movie with different characters and more violence. netflix only wants money and it is sad :(

such an unnecessary prequel. it didn’t explain anything we didnt already know. it started and ended the same way the 1st movie did. except the 1st one was actually a 10/10

idk what to even put it as because i didnt watch the whole thing …. either my attention span has gone or i was bored … the first one was good very much enjoyed but maybe i was bored cuz obviously it was the same situation who knows maybe i need to actually try and watch it 😭😭

Decent, didn’t have a plot and a solid ending

It was good at the beginning and then I had no earthly idea what was even going on. Had me in the first half tho 5.1/10

lost a bit of the intrige and simplicity the first one had, but i’m still a sucker for these weird movies - 6,5/10

Moi qui pensais que ce serai une suite, en fait c'est bien avant. J'ai bien aimé, c'est bien de voir comment ça se passé avant, de voir des personnes qui sont toujours là au 1. Le + qui etais bien c'est tout a la fin quand elle se retrouve avec le gas du film 1, tout ce rejoint.

I really enjoyed the first movie for it’s uniqueness. This sequel just wasn’t it though sadly. Pacing was bad in my opinion (felt like I was watching an everlasting trailer), and never really got to know any of the characters. This IP would have been better off as a standalone :/
