Wes!!! Need this in Criterion

I'm not much of a Wes Anderson fan, but maybe I'm turning into one? I find it hard to cognitively understand and engage in his filmography for several reasons. It's all almost too much, from his overwhelming character count to his loaded physical and mental symbolism. Although I was more invested in this than I was with "Asteroid City", even with its incoherent story. Overall, I think the pros meet the cons, but the multifaceted historical narrative and cast (Riz and Cera) save this from dislike. Also, the nepo babies (Mia) have been on their top game recently.

Saw this in theater and it’s so distinctly Wes Anderson. That being said the style and the characters carry this movie. At the end the steam built up during the movie kind of fizzles out. That being said it’s an enjoyable watch all the way through

This film was an unexpected surprise, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It felt more like a play than a movie, and the acting was impeccable. The casting choices were spot-on for each role. This movie was definitely worth watching.
