Although this is meant to be an origin story, I felt like I learnt nothing. Except blood, father who doesn't understand evil but heals evil, more blood and french guy. The plot twists got me afew times, but most were ruined because I understood what was going on faster than characters could lollop their way into evil. The visuals could have been a lot better, but the casting makes up for it. Also, I didn't giggle through this, which I think is an achievement. Laughed at the comedy, stared blankly at the horror, danced through the jazz, and expressed afew kind words through the magic.

It’s a good explanation of the origins of Valak and if you’re into stories intertwining in movies this ties together some of the stuff in The Conjuring universe. I don’t get the hate behind it. 🤷‍♂️

feared for my life and now have an inability to sleep 👌cheers mush. Also I hope she can stop appearing in the corner of my room as it's rather distracting.

This movie is boring and has such a slow pacing. No character development. Some stupid church no one had to deal with and could’ve just led it. But no some weird people wanted to come play with some nuns and dies honestly it’s there fault for their stupid decision. Overall trash

The Nun is quiet likely the best entry in the blockbuster The Conjuring cinematic franchise. However, this is still not much of an endorsement.

most boring horror film I’ve seen so far. I thought about rewatching, but probably wouldn’t change anything. at least the character design for the Nun went hard.

One of the worst movies that I had the displeasure of watching in the cinema. Extremely boring, not scary, and also too dark to see what’s happening most of the time. Big dislike 👎.

valak had SO much potential

not very scary but still pretty good. they did some rest-conning at the end that i wasn’t a big fan of but that’s ok, still overall fun with good characters

Idk a lot of ppl didn’t like this one, but for me the visuals, music, and characters were well done and made this pretty creepy
