Although this is meant to be an origin story, I felt like I learnt nothing. Except blood, father who doesn't understand evil but heals evil, more blood and french guy. The plot twists got me afew times, but most were ruined because I understood what was going on faster than characters could lollop their way into evil. The visuals could have been a lot better, but the casting makes up for it. Also, I didn't giggle through this, which I think is an achievement. Laughed at the comedy, stared blankly at the horror, danced through the jazz, and expressed afew kind words through the magic.

I thought itd be better

I feel as though this film has received excessive criticism. I thoroughly enjoyed the movie and found the story to be genuinely intriguing. While there were a few parts that left me puzzled, there weren’t many. The story is compelling and terrifying in every aspect.

sooo scary scenes but didn’t really understand anything, like not the story or anything. and i never really got to know the characters so it wasn’t a big deal when they died lowk. but still soo scary to me😛
