enjoyed it while i watched it but i will likely never even think of this movie again. creepier than silent hill which is a compliment to this movie and a dig at silent hill. 6/10.

A good thriller with a legend/premonition component. Drags a little in the middle but still worth a watch

Way, way more unsettling than I expected. Really changed a lot from the book, but that’s ok because it was an engaging watch

Couldn’t get through it tbh

How is a movie about Mothman this boring. Two (2!) hours of long silences, people saying they saw something weird, and Richard Gere talking about his wife. It’s painful and way too long. It has almost nothing to do with cryptids. You see Mothman ONCE.

That being said, Laura Linney EATS in this role. The only thing that kept me watching.

Too much about prophecies and not enough about Mothman for my liking.

i felt bad for this guy the whole time, it’s sad to lose your wife to a moth. this is like something you’d see on the Syfy network at 2:00 am back in 2005

definitely had some creepy parts and some slow parts but overall good and well made considering it was the early 2000s + extra creepy cus it’s based off a true story !!

It isn't a bad movie. Detective movies just don't keep me interested. Worth a watch though.

Not actually about mothman but very good

Good eerie film with a great lore begind it.

Good psychological turns but why not just make it set at the same time as the true story

Great creepy movie. Cool visuals and story. Kinda like Donnie darko sci fi type movie .

Interesting, I think they could have squeezed out some more thriller moments to make this actually feel like one. The story is great but it just takes really long for things to get intriguing. The ending kind of made it all better but the entire movie leading up to it wasn’t .
