The Mothman Prophecies

Couldn’t get through it tbh

How is a movie about Mothman this boring. Two (2!) hours of long silences, people saying they saw something weird, and Richard Gere talking about his wife. It’s painful and way too long. It has almost nothing to do with cryptids. You see Mothman ONCE.

That being said, Laura Linney EATS in this role. The only thing that kept me watching.

Too much about prophecies and not enough about Mothman for my liking.

i felt bad for this guy the whole time, it’s sad to lose your wife to a moth. this is like something you’d see on the Syfy network at 2:00 am back in 2005
