my brain refuses to believe this movie came out in 2016. loved the “bad/almost monotone 60s/70s acting”, it was relaxing. the story was ok but the star of the show was definitely the aesthetic and cinematography, worth watching solely for it.

What do I think of this? I don’t even know. This was easily one of the most confusing, strangely shot and plot movies I’ve seen in my life. Where do I start? The lovers? The love affairs? The writing? Directing? Producing? Music? Camera work? I don’t even know. I’m lost&confused

oh my god this movie was so weird, i loved it. the fact that it was made in 2017 astounds me as it has the same feel of a movie from the 60s. the girls who get it get it, the girls that dont dont! all the weird acting and campiness was purposeful (1/2)

I would say it’s style over substance except this movie does have a little substance and that substance makes it worse. 1/10, simply for the aesthetic.

the plot could have been better, but i liked the story overall. I love the aesthetic & cinematography. I wish Samantha Robinson had more roles because she was perfect in this movie 🌈💌❤️‍🔥🗡️

The acting was bad. I hate how they portrayed women and men. It made me uncomfortable at times also. Probably wouldn’t consider rewatching.

Ok so everyone is pretty and I love a delusional woman but BRU I can’t handle old movies that have a unnecessary amount of nudity. Apologies to film whores 😔🙏

suffered through the whole thing and hated it. there was a really compelling movie somewhere about how cults and religious groups prey on vulnerable people. too bad that wasn’t this movie! like at all. it looked pretty i guess.

I like the story and the cinematography however I’m not a fan of the heavy nudity. I understand some of it (the cult type senses) but most of it felt like over kill that wasn’t needed to tell the story. Especially when this movie is marketed to women.

Such a beautiful movie everything about the aesthetics were so on point you could tell a lot of care was put into that. I just wish the plot and acting held up besides the lead, if you’re going for camp you gotta go all in or not at all otherwise it’s not camp at all

There are interesting phrases and thoughts, but if in general, the movie is not hooked

i adored the aesthetics and whole atmosphere of the film, but the overall story was a little weak for me. Still an enjoyable watch

This was really bizarre and I enjoyed watching it so much.
I couldn’t believe this was a 2016 movie, they got that 70’s vibes really well.
It was genuinely the most beautiful movie aesthetically and I feel like it had Lana del Rey vibes written all over it. 🔥
