The Love Witch

my brain refuses to believe this movie came out in 2016. loved the “bad/almost monotone 60s/70s acting”, it was relaxing. the story was ok but the star of the show was definitely the aesthetic and cinematography, worth watching solely for it.

What do I think of this? I don’t even know. This was easily one of the most confusing, strangely shot and plot movies I’ve seen in my life. Where do I start? The lovers? The love affairs? The writing? Directing? Producing? Music? Camera work? I don’t even know. I’m lost&confused

A love witch introduced me to this movie so it hit twice as hard the 2nd time i watched it

i was really high and honestly i didn't understand much about the whole metaphor but its a very well produced filmed and the acting has that uncanny valley quality to it.

i think its one of those movies where you enjoy it more at the second rewatch

i love this film sm, the vibe and the aesthetic is perfect plus the story line!!
