The Long Walk Home

The Long Walk Home is a powerful, emotional film that really stays with you. It captures an important moment in history through the eyes of two women whose lives are changed by the Montgomery Bus Boycott. The performances—especially from Whoopi Goldberg and Sissy Spacek—are heartfelt and genuine, and their connection feels incredibly real.

The movie blends quiet, personal moments with larger social tension, creating a story that’s both deeply human and historically meaningful. It’s thoughtful, moving, and beautifully acted. A film that quietly hits hard and makes you think long after it ends.

The Long Walk Home

My heart hurts to watch movies like these, to know that the people before me were treated like this. Racial injustice is one of the worst crimes, especially when one person cannot fight back or they could be detained for defending themselves. This is a good watch.
