AMAZING SET UP FOR A SEQUEL OMG

6.2 - decent but could have been great. Awesome set up, cool moments, well-designed & effective sets, & cool creature design. Terrible pace, uneven writing. Felt reminiscent of old school monster movies but with something significant missing.

Consistently creepy yet rarely terrifying, this flat spinoff doesn’t make any meaningful additions to the mythology of the source material. There’s a brief novelty to the bloody spectacle but this supposed final voyage feels considerably thin by its end.

My expectatives were super high from references from Stephan King and Guillermo del toro, I thought it was going to be an horror film, but it turns out to be a great suspense, a really short passage of the book turned into an amazing film

Dracula sailed on the Demeter a ship captained by Captain Elliot. That voyage also happened to be the ship’s last voyage…. this horror film has great atmosphere and surprisingly solid characters with great performances. Also, when Dracula is doing his thing it’s great gory fun.

Fantastic and immersive period piece horror. The scares were well done and the practical effects and makeup looked amazing. I’ll definitely be watching this again!

This was a good movie. Good, not great in my opinion. I’ve been getting into horror films and this is good enough for me to watch the ending. I also liked the time period and the “at sea” part of it.

dracula was horrifying to look at. he spooked me a few times. but it was suspenseful, had a touch of gore, and i was surprised that i actually enjoyed the jump scares even when i knew they were coming. one con: they thought they could trick & trap dracula lol, like cmon ✨8.2/10✨

Nice addition to the mythos of Dracula. Good cast and effects. Creepy visuals and decent plot keep the story moving. I did like that Dracula resembled the monsterous Nosferatu rather than the overly-romanticized, well-dressed bloodsucker of some movies.

Oh. My. God. As a die hard Dracula fan, it was so fascinating seeing this adaptation from just a few short log entries! I hope they continue the story. there's some potential here

This movie is an interesting plot with Dracula looking like the Nosferatu version but it was definitely slow at times and dragged. I like how it ended but just be prepared for lots of slow dragging drawn out parts.

Slow start but once it picked up it was really a good watch. 7.8/10

So glad I didn’t waste the money to see it in theaters.
