The Huntsman: Winter's War

Drones on for almost two hours until the narrator closes the movie with something to the effect of the story may be over "but fairy talks never end." That doesn't seem so much like an ending as it does a threat that they might make a sequel to this mess.

It's like if 'Frozen' were about 2 random villagers. Every time a queen was on screen my eyes physically beamed. The visual effects and acting on Emily Blunt and Charlize Theron were amazing. Both are barely in it but so easily steal the entire 2 hours. The message of 'love conquers all' was great but I ironically felt the opposite for every other character. The title confused me and I'm guessing there were production issues but what a waste. You can bare the silly accents and predictable dialogue for around 30 minutes, after that it's a complete bore fest. Decent stunt work and sound design though.

Definitely not a good movie (script, directing), but the acting was enjoyable. Wouldn’t watch again, but didn’t hate it.
