Snow White and the Huntsman

In-between a low-quality script with high-quality visuals. I forgot how good this was because the last time I watched it I was around 9. Don't know much about Snow White but I nearly always look forward to watching adaptations on classic stories. The cast was a plus, Charlize had so much potential if it wasn't for the dialogue. It just didn't pair up with the phenomenal effects. 2 hours wasn't enough either as the characters felt randomly thrown in with no actual connection. Hated the dwarves. I'd say it had everything you want from fantasy but the underdeveloped and rushed script/pacing became too apparent and lost me.

Chris with the narration was a great touch & alwys a fan of dark fatansy flims.
Up there with Jack the Giant Slayer/ Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters/ Dracula Untold

I prefer this version a thousand times to the Disney one.
Charlize was amazing in this role.

I didn’t expect to love it as much as they did, but it was really great and I love the fantasy and the romance and the plot and the acting. It was also so good and it was really into it.
