i love found footage movies even though they can be bad at times which is what i was expecting with this one but i actually enjoyed it 🔥 (the characters are really dumb so just prepare to be angry while watching this movie) ab to watch the second one and im expecting it to be 👎🏼

felt super realistic, the dialogue between the group of friends was unbearable at points though and super unfunny, probably improv, but i really really liked the haunt scenes, it was really fun how they kept building the intensity

i’ve never been a fan of found footage but i thought i’d give this one a shot. spoiler: it’s bad. like soo bad. and there’s a second one, idek why cause the first wasn’t even good. but form your own opinion if you want. it was a waste of my time.

fun movie to watch on halloween! Loved the horrorness of it. The way it was violent long before anyone was hurt. They had literally every sign in front of them shouting danger every moment of the movie 😭

I like the premise a lot! Going to a haunt attraction and not knowing what is real and what isn't sounds terrifying. I do think this movie did a bad job at executing this idea. The acting and dialogue felt realistic. Listening to men in their early thirties converse was about as interesting as that can get. When they started to actually get scared in the end, the acting felt a bit bland and the camera angles took away from the intensity. The characters were so dumb. Seriously. They all were, but Zack is a horrible person. How would you be filmed INSIDE your RV while everyone is asleep and think to continue on and not tell anyone? So many bad experiences happened but they kept going.
It was realistic but I knew I, myself, would neeeever go that far after the first suspicious activities. And the way they kept thinking the actors were their friends dressed in the masks made me think "Really"? I was scared of this when I first saw it with my dad because it was so close to where we lived, but now that I'm older, this movie was pretty blah.

Anthology and found footage movies are my jam. This was great. I can't understand why people knowingly go off the beaten path. I know it's new and exciting. But I guess you can call me crazy. Because I like not risking my life lol

Some really solid performances here, the dialogue felt really organic which added the authenticity. They did a good job of building the tension as well, very unsettling. But the ending just kinda fell flat for me. I wanted more after all that buildup.
