The Evil Dead

- I love horror and not a lot scares me, but this is genuinely one of the most terrifying films I’ve ever seen
- Ash is fineee so that helped
- Proof you don’t need the special effects we have today to make a scary film
- All the characters are stupid, but that’s to be expected

Do people really like this movie or do they just think they have to say they like it to be considered true horror movie fans? I don’t get it. It’s terrible. It’s not even one of those “so bad it’s good” movies.

2/10 gave me the biggest headache ever that bitch making the same screeching laugh noise over and over was so annoying i literally had to skip through the parts where the possessed bitches were screaming cuz it was so irritating 🤣😭

I love the style of this whole movie, the fog, the woods , the gross practical effects were so good. Felt theatrical like they were on a big dark stage. Found it more funny than scary. So many cool shots. I would have loved if not for the tree scene, felt overdrawn.

lot more gory than i expected. as for how scared i was… ehhh as scary as you can be watching an 80s horror film. a lot of the scenes towards the end where the demons are decomposing were veryy nasty to look at.

I will forever love this movie. So darn good!
