While feeling like a total departure from the series’ horror roots, this movie still maintains it’s signature violent slapstick comedy, but cranks up the humor. This movie doesn’t take itself too seriously, but I sometimes wished it would taken itself a bit more seriously.

Does it wander away from the horror roots? Yes. Is it still fun? Yes! This films is such a crazy and insane ride. So many hilarious moments that kept me entertained, and the medieval theme works surprisingly well. The practical effects are still very impressive, very fun!!
