While feeling like a total departure from the series’ horror roots, this movie still maintains it’s signature violent slapstick comedy, but cranks up the humor. This movie doesn’t take itself too seriously, but I sometimes wished it would taken itself a bit more seriously.

Army of Darkness is a goofy and fun film that actually follows a somewhat congruent story. This film has a lot of comedy in it and is definitely interesting, but just like the previous films, it drags on a little longer than needed.

man oh man was i thrown for a loop. coming into this with the mindset of horror is incorrect. you gotta embrace the campiness and just aura that DC gives off lol i totally see the appeal of this comedy

i really enjoyed it, i don’t like how they can’t get the rights for the previous movies and always has to do a remake kinda in the beginning
super iconic lines and pretty funny parts. i watched the directors cut and the different ending was pretty nice, i would like to see something based upon that ending though.
the movie was downright awesome. such cool makeup effects, and i loved the kills. such a good way to end the trilogy.
