The Accountant Reviews

oh god. i really enjoyed this movie. the portraying of autism was simply spectacular. the plot twist, love, loyalty; a particular way of showing it. fully recommended. 10/10.

Only watched this for the upcoming sequel, otherwise, I probably wouldn't have. I was expecting a traditional action flick, and predictable as it might've been, I was left surprisingly surprised. Mostly by the depth in the second half of the film. I wasn't really into the stereotypical 'Hollywood' autism, but I'm glad there's representation. No wonder Affleck got Batman. The rest of the cast was great, loved seeing Kendrick and Lithgow. Nothing hit me like Simmons though, he single-handedly took this to another level. Overall, great stunt work, an overly confusing story, and an unnecessarily long runtime.

Knew from the first few minutes that this one would be fun to watch. I went into it blind so the appearance of Bernthal in particular was awesome; as always, his character was witty and amusing. Simmons' role had me locked in as well but the most fulfilling treat of the entire film was of course Ben Affleck's 'Christian Wolff'. Really interesting, psychologically stimulating, and rich with subtle bits for those who enjoy the finer details. The fighting choreography? The fighting choreography. 9/10

Dana: What is this place?
Christian: Panamerica Airstream, 34ft 7inches long, 8ft 5 inches wide. Dimensions which are perfectly adequate for one person. Preferable, even.
Dana: This is where you live?
Christian: No, I don't live here, this is a storage unit, that would be weird.

Pretty good movie, interesting concept. Kind of fell asleep a little bit but just because I was already dead lol not cause the movie was bad. Would definitely watch again sometime soon

6/10 - was good. Didn’t live up to the Equalizers or John Wicks for me but still fun, will definitely watch the second one. Anna Kendrick is the best as usual.

Solid film, ikke sløs tid me å se 2en

Underwhelming. Affleck was great and his boringness was the point since he’s an accountant. However, villain & storyline very underwhelming and all over the place. I did like twist at end, but could’ve been played up much more. So meh for the genre. Maybe that’s the point. 7.3/10

Pleasantly surprised with this one, nice quick origin story/action with good plot twists and a story that itches your brain the right way

got a little confusing at times, a lot of plot holes. the concept is really well done, but story wise it lacked. pace was slow, only one big action sequence, i really wanted more tbh. incredible performance from ben and jon, loved the duo. 7 / 10

7/10

A different hitman vibe. I like the OCD/savant angle. Affleck knocks it out of the park. Kendrick surprises, too. Couple of twists, as well.

dumbest movie ever such a dad movie but in a bad way god it was unbearable

Pups❤️

Amazing story
One of the best acting by Ben Affleck
Incredible action

8/10
This one is just peak. Action movie, but with crazy character development, insane plot hooks and really nice engage elements that makes U want to know more about brothers. Worth watchin and worth re-watching, even cause of sentimental value

Great ‘who done it’ movie with good action sequences. The opening of the movie and the flashbacks are handled perfectly and add great depth to the characters. 8.2/10
