cute. wanted more but good enough. I'd totally see Sister Sugar Walls

This might be a crazy thing to say, but this feels like top 3 Kevin Smith to me! While there is a fairly thin through-line, the simplicity is what makes this sweet rom-com soar. Call me a fool but I loved this movie! Bonus points for the fake movie trailers throughout!

had higher hopes, writing felt a little forced or on the nose or smth.

I absolutely loved this movie , I've been so worried about Kevin Smith movies over the last couple years but this restored all my faith , this had the amazing spark that clerks and his other films had , loved the new young cast also they were all amazing.
