Reminds me of childhood… supergirl resembles my beautiful mother and Fay Dunnaway is fantastic!!

i didn’t actually think it was that bad until the last hour. horrendously cheesy effects and ultra campy performances, even if it’s actually a bit warm and funny at times. also trash writing and action; slater did a fine job

Helen Slater made a fantastic Supergirl, embodying the character’s charm and optimism. While the story and villains were campy, the movie had a fun, adventurous tone. It’s a flawed but enjoyable entry that expanded Superman’s world in a lighter, more fantastical direction.
