i didn’t actually think it was that bad until the last hour. horrendously cheesy effects and ultra campy performances, even if it’s actually a bit warm and funny at times. also trash writing and action; slater did a fine job

Helen Slater made a fantastic Supergirl, embodying the character’s charm and optimism. While the story and villains were campy, the movie had a fun, adventurous tone. It’s a flawed but enjoyable entry that expanded Superman’s world in a lighter, more fantastical direction.

I'm not 100% sure, but this might be the worst superhero I've seen so far. Everything was atrocious across the board. I'm only giving it 1 star because it was kind of amusing seeing how cringe it got.
