Stopmotion

Way too slow and way too long. It teases you with amazing stop motion animation just to cut away and almost never return. The soundtrack was insanely good, especially with the editing and camerawork. The casting and acting was fine, but was the little girl necessary? When will horror stop relying on annoying little girls and creepy old women? It took way too long for the story to actually get anywhere, so an hour in, I ended up turning it off. The concept was unique and interesting, so I'll be waiting on a stop motion horror movie that's actually stop motion.

This movie was really slow going but the ending was pretty crazy which saved it for me. All the stop animation stuff is neat to see as well.

This movie is disturbing in several ways. It does a great job in the messaging of being a grown child of abuse and trying to figure out who you are. I definitely liked it but I don't know if I'll ever watch it again.

Very clever and surprisingly gruesome. Especially foreboding for artist and people that peruse demanding creative outlets.

I cannot get enough of the trope “going insane because of a hobby overtaking sanity.” The doll squeaking in her most insane moments? Wonderful. All the squelches? Disgustingly fantastic. The “real” and claymation gore? Phenomenal. Absolutely recommend.
