Star Trek: Section 31 Reviews

I’ve loved every Star Trek movie and tv show for over 50 years until this insanely bad movie. I’m not sure what was worse the video game cut scene elements or the fact that it felt like I was watching Oceans 11 in space. Even the special effects were sub-par. Disappointing.

this has to be the WORST Star Trek product I have ever seen.

6/10 not bad for a stand alone Star Trek TV movie. Like the ideal of opening up the Star Trek universe. Worth a watch

i promise i’m trying with everything in my power to be generous, but this wasn’t great. i loved the intro to the story — very beautiful place with a shocking twist to start things off — but then it just loses itself more and more as you go. by the end i was rolling my eyes really hard.

I didn’t watch this series so I didn’t know much backstory, but the person I watched this with had and really enjoyed this. It’s okay but I don’t recommend if you didn’t watch the series.

Terrible.

I love Star Trek, both old and new trek. But this was bad. This was disgracefully bad.

I wanted this to be great. In all honesty, I had to watch it twice because I fell asleep during the first watch

I’m so sorry but this was awful, I really wanted to love it because of Michelle Yeoh but omg - I just wanted it to be overrrr. The beginning was great though, we could have just done a movie on that.

A half-cooked Sci-Fi spin-off starring a crew of intolerable characters on a generic mission spouting smug quips that should venture into a black hole.

It should have been at least decent. I’m so sorry it was not.

As a Trekkie this disappoints me so much it’s so so tragic they just made it a generic action Film its so boring and bad. Everything about it feels cheap 😔

Not as good as the main Star Trek movies. Not too awful for a direct-to-streaming movie. Wish it had been a little more relevant to mainstream Star trek
