A violent electrical storm topples power lines into the rain soaked earth that is home for an aggressive breed of worms. The high voltage causes the worms to mutate into larger, hostile hordes of man-eating worms that lie in wait for the residents of Fly Creek.

6/8/26: The amount of southern gothic drama within this worm horror film is fucking astounding. The bait gets revenge on a small fishing town 😭! What an incredibly fun film, absolutely fantastic acting for a B Movie. The music is sooo good, and the story is genuinely intriguing as well as moving. Yes it’s a silly concept of worms being frightening, but it’s done in such an exciting setting and works fantastically for the time period. Truly a hidden southern gothic masterpiece within an odd horror movie!
