Sleepy Hollow Reviews

10/10 recommend

the movie is so genuinely underrated from all of the tim burtons work, recommend to watch everyone during upcoming halloween

Spectacular set design in this film… loved it!… if you can get past the 17yr age gap between Christina Ricci (19) and Johnny Depp (36)… although in 1799 I’m sure that happened on the reg… In fact 19 May have been too old … eww. But that aside- Loved it!!!!

A supernatural splendor, gorgeously morose, Sleepy Hollow is a dark horse amid Burton’s filmography.

I like

This was alright; I wasn’t sure what to expect. It was a little slow at times. The plot was difficult to follow. I liked the humour. This movie wasn’t really my cup of tea so I don’t think I’ll watch it again, but I’m really glad I did.

Johnny depp & tim burton. Needed I say more

Gun powder the goat

a little bit cheesy and too much, but enjoyable to say the very least.

ngl i was waiting for more by the end of this movie but hey how can i hate anything with Johnny depp in it?

so no head?

Perfect spooky October viewing, even if “style over substance.” The Headless Horseman is a captivating mythic figure that I've always loved. The romance sucks & the mystery is predictable, but the gothic aesthetic elements are spellbinding enough for a generally positive viewing.

Love the spooky vibes and the atmosphere. 10/7

Pretty good and oddly funny. I could’ve done without the villain monologue revealing their evil plan, but otherwise a pretty solid Halloween watch.

So gothic and creepy. The story is so perfect for the fall season and it keeps you on your toes as you watch. Johnny depp 💯

Tim Burton and Danny Elfman doin their thing and crushing it as always. They nail the spooky atmosphere

Liked the Headless Horseman’s design a lot in this and the fight scenes were cool. The score was great. Thought the final sequence was good. A good interpretation, but I still prefer the original story or the Disney version.

great movie for halloween
