the movie is so genuinely underrated from all of the tim burtons work, recommend to watch everyone during upcoming halloween

Spectacular set design in this film… loved it!… if you can get past the 17yr age gap between Christina Ricci (19) and Johnny Depp (36)… although in 1799 I’m sure that happened on the reg… In fact 19 May have been too old … eww. But that aside- Loved it!!!!

It’s good… as long as you don’t compare it to the source material 😅 the term is “loosely” here. I do wanna point out that the plot is kinda all over the place, so don’t go into this movie expecting good writing
