Zionist propaganda

I feel really conflicted about this one. On one hand, it was really well shot and acted. Pacing was pretty solid and it was a gripping story. On the other hand, given world politics right now and the war in Gaza, it feels like the wrong time to release this movie and I felt uncomfortable through a lot of the film as a result of that. Not really sure 100% where I stand on this one.

a subject that is very important but not many people know or even remember.

very well shot, color pallete, production design, can tell it was very low budget since it was all shot in one location, wish we had more tbh.

it’s dark & eerie, pacing is alright a bit slow for my taste. good film overall but could’ve definitely been much bigger imo.

A really haunting and thrilling look at the media’s role in tragedies with some incredible performances and a great script

This was before my time, but I had heard a little about it, but never knew the whole story… I found this extremely interesting and educational!!!

The whole movie felt like the behind the scenes of the ABC broadcast that day. The suspense was good but it didn’t feel like it, we didn’t get an insider pov. Feel like getting that perspective could have made the movie so much more powerful. Good story bad execution imo. 2.5/5

I thought this was just ok. I was very familiar with the story from having read Vengeance (great book) and of course seen the movie Munich. So there was no suspense for me.

I guess if you’re interested in journalism it was an ok movie. But All the President’s Men or Spotlight or She Said are better for that.

I went in completely blind to this movie and I was blown away by it. I was on the edge of my seat the entire movie. This is a must see movie!

Everyone should watch this movie. Super gripping and powerful

Really amazing film. Captured the essence of a news broadcast perfectly alongside an angle into a historic event. Deserves best picture nomination!

A gritting tale of what was happening behind the screen which 900 million were watching. How Germany acted, how the info came trickling, the rumours and the ultimate end all shown on a ground level

It is such a compelling and tense story, but the main plot of the broadcast team unintentionally takes a backseat to the terror attack. Still very solid and well done narratively.

Boring. Geoff was selfish, how were there no consequences??

good movie and very stress-inducing but i can't help acknowledging the VERY poor timing of its release. i think it takes away from the greatness this movie could've had...
